A B O U T | "What's your desire?"

Hi, my name is Teri Thomas and I have been a professional pastry chef for over 18 years in Toledo, Ohio and now I bring to you your own online bakery!

Since 1989, I have been offering innovative desserts and gourmet treats to my local hometown customers. Over the years, my pastries can be found at coffee houses, restaurants and were also used by caterers and anyone just looking for a little something sweet. I also do craft services for video and film shoots here in town which affords me the unique opportunity to work with my husband, Rick Thomas, who is a grip/gaffer. I also teach baking classes at Gourmet Curiosities, one of our local cooking schools. It's all such great fun.

I really enjoy what I do and now anyone, anywhere can try my most very favorite cookie recipes right here on the net! I wanted to expand into the cybermarketplace, but some of the desserts I make really aren't made to be shipped. I don't feel freezing benefits my desserts in anyway (unless they are meant to be frozen, like ice cream). And some are so fragile....well, enough said there. So I tried to think of something that is easily shipped, creative, appealing and fun on the tongue. Over time I have added more varieties, and more are definitely to come. So sit back, relax, put on the fuzzy slippers and take a sensory plunge into some delightful cookies.

I use only the freshest ingredients; fine Belgian and American chocolates, nuts from Georgia and Hawaii and pure cane sugars. Everything is baked to order and shipped next day by Priority mail. If you are in a hurry, I can also ship express or next day air. The only preservatives added by me are the mere love of the craft.
